Our Fall 2024 Book Selection

This Fall 2024 we are embracing the possibility of electing our first black female president of the United States of America. Wow! To ensure that our girls are a part of this process, we will be reading President of the Whole 5th Grade Class series by Sherri Winston. This three-book series is the story of Brianna Justice who begins her race for president of the 5th grade class, the ups and downs of entering 6th grade, and ends with book 3 where she is part of a mentoring program at a STEM academy. This series embraces our five core values and delivers an inspirational, yet humorous and compelling story of victory.
